By now, you’ve probably seen the iconic video circulating the internet of Paris Hilton walking you through her favorite 2000s trends for W Magazine.

If you haven’t, watch it immediately.

Although the video is undeniably hilarious and pokes fun at a lot of the silly 2000s trends (i.e. skirts so short they’re basically belts and the infamous love-it-or-hate-it Juicy Couture tracksuit trend), the video does bring up an excellent point – the 2000s brought us some amazing trends that are slowly coming back into fashion, no matter how much we hate to admit it.

One could argue that it all began with Kendall Jenner’s replica of Paris Hilton’s silver party dress that she wore on her 21st birthday, and frankly we’re not complaining.

Here are five trends circa the 2000s that are making a major fashion comeback.

When you’re rocking a denim mini in the 2000s, less is more – literally. To keep it modern and classy, pair a short denim mini skirt with a loose fitting tee. This look is effortlessly chic and super on-trend.

Think pink! Instead of hot pink which was all the rage in the 2000s, try a fresher take on this look with some millennial pink wardrobe staples. It’s hard to make pink look cutting edge, so mix it up by playing with textures and proportions.

We get it – you don’t want to look like you just stepped out of Limited Too. In New York, it’s hard to escape the constant pressures of minimalism. However, this spring truly is all about color! Keep it high fashion by choosing unexpected pieces and keeping the rest of your look simple.

Not just a clutch, a tiny purse is an iconic fashion staple of the 2000s. Make your look on-trend by choosing bold textures like fur or tweed and bright colors. To add even more interest to your OOTD, pair your mini bag with oversized everything else. The play on proportions is so bold and attention-grabbing!

They’re basically the type of glasses you’ll find at your local CVS, but on Bella Hadid, they somehow look high fashion. These are pretty hard to pull off. I can’t help but think I would look like my middle school librarian wearing them, but perhaps some It girls are up to the challenge.
